We are one team, and we do not think alike.

Sustainable Impact is run by a devoted team, and the same people carry an investment from the first conversation to the years that follow it. Those who study a company before we commit are those who sit alongside it afterwards. Nothing is handed to another desk once the money is in.

We did not all arrive from finance. Between us, the team has worked in governance, economics, geopolitics, industry, technology, banking, law, entrepreneurship, philanthropy and sourcing, in several countries. A company that comes to us is read from all of those directions at once, by people around one table.

What holds this group together is not a background but a conviction: a founder with the right idea, given the right means, will find a way. So before we look at a market, we look at a person. We ask how they understand the problem they are solving, whether they have lived close to it, and whether we would trust them with something that matters.

We believe disagreement is useful. A group of people who share one training tends to share one blind spot, and we would rather hear early, from someone whose expertise is not ours, that we have misread a technology, a jurisdiction or a supply chain. We take our time, we argue, and we decide together.

Once we have invested, the team becomes part of the company's working life. An introduction that opens a market, a reading of a regulatory environment before it turns into a problem, a second opinion from someone who has built the thing before. That is what we mean by backing a founder: capital first, then presence.

We are patient by design. The companies we back answer needs that do not go away, and we intend to be there for as long as it takes them to do it well.
